★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es un lugar hermoso, sinceramente no creía que en Salamanca hubiese algún templo de este tipo, muy recomendado para visitar y observar la arquitectura, un poco de la historia de Salamanca y de la religión católica por supuesto.
Obviamente también es obligatorio visitar la plazoleta que está enfrente del templo y comer algún helado, nieve etc. Super recomendado.
It is a beautiful place, I honestly did not believe that in Salamanca there was a temple of this type, highly recommended to visit and observe the architecture, a bit of the history of Salamanca and of course the Catholic religion.
Obviously it is also mandatory to visit the square in front of the temple and eat some ice cream, snow, etc. Super recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Iglesia de San Agustín en Salamanca es un templo que data de 1700, lo administran los agustinos, la estetica y magnanimidad de sus formas es maravillosa e impactante, tiene 11 retablos y unos frescos únicos, hay detalles y resaltes en cada lugar, y se complementa con unas figuras intrincadas, que son muy bellas.
Las celosías de madera después de las puertas (desconozco como se llaman) son enormes y muy intrincadas, el piso forma un patrón muy bonito.
Fui varias veces y lo encontré cerrado, pero hay que ser insistente porque puede sorprender los horarios, yo fui a una celebración de 9:15 un día entre semana y en domingo 7:30, aunque me hospedé muy cerca no escuche las campanas que convocan a las celebraciones. Ojalá tuviera más horarios por la tarde, las celebraciones se llenan, aunque si cuida y mantiene las medidas sanitarias para protección contra el COVID, hay marcas para sentarse y recomendaciones para la circulación, había gel anti bacterial en la entrada.
Recuerden deshabilitar la función en el teléfono para no tomar fotos con flas.
Las personas que colaboran están bien coordinadas y son muy atentas, muy amablemente te invitan a cumplir con las medidas solicitadas.

The Church of San Agustín in Salamanca is a temple dating from 1700, administered by the Augustinians, the aesthetics and magnanimity of its forms is wonderful and impressive, it has 11 altarpieces and some unique frescoes, there are details and highlights in each place, and complemented with intricate figures, which are very beautiful.
The wooden lattices after the doors (I don't know what they are called) are huge and very intricate, the floor forms a very beautiful pattern.
I went several times and found it closed, but you have to be insistent because the schedules may surprise, I went to a celebration at 9:15 one day during the week and on Sunday 7:30, although I stayed very close I did not hear the bells that call to the celebrations. I wish I had more hours in the afternoon, the celebrations fill up, although if you take care and maintain the sanitary measures for protection against COVID, there are marks to sit on and recommendations for circulation, there was antibacterial gel at the entrance.
Remember to disable the function on the phone to not take photos with flashes.
The people who collaborate are well coordinated and are very attentive, very kindly they invite you to comply with the requested measures.
