Su fiesta principal es el 20 de enero, dedicada a Dan Sebastián. La parroquia asiste a muchos barrios aledaños. Es común ver la iglesia llena en las misas, que de lunes a sábado tienen horario de 7 a.m. Y 7 p.m., y los días domingo 7 , 9:30, 11:30, 13:00 y 19:00 hr. También se veneran a El Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, La Virgen de Fátima, La Virgen de Guadalupe, La Santísima Trinidad, La Virgen del Perpetuo Socorro. Se reúnen las familias a escuchar la Santa Misa y a degustar ricos antojitos tradicionales a la salida, disfrutando de las hermosas sombras de lo árboles que adornan el parque de San Sebastián. Cabe mencionar que en esta iglesia se gestó la independencia de Chiapas y próxima anexión a México. La fachada de la iglesia conserva las imágenes de Santos descabezados, resultado de la guerra cristera. The San Sebastián Mártir Temple, is one of the most important in Comitán, it was the second parish of the city, after that of Santo Domingo or Iglesia Grande, as many know it. Its main festival is on January 20, dedicated to Dan Sebastian. The parish attends many surrounding neighborhoods. It is worth mentioning that in this church the independence of Chiapas was created and the next annexation to Mexico. The facade of the church conserves the images of decapitated Saints, result of the Cristero war.
