?La capilla estaba planeada para estar dentro del Hospital?, ?pero Fray Antonio Alcalde consideró que era mejor tenerla abierta al público ?y no sólo a los enfermos?. ?La capilla de Belén ?es sencilla y sin muchos detalles?, pues solo tenía la intención de recibir allí a los enfermos ?que no pudieran asistir a la ⛪ iglesia por razones de contagio ?y salubridad?.
