Ahí todavía se puede gozar de las tradiciones y descansar de los agobios citadinos. Su arquitectura virreinal, el pequeño claustro que está a un lado y sus detalles interiores valen la pena. Son de esas pequeñas joyas patrimoniales que debemos resguardar.
The temple of San Marcos Evangelista is a refuge, like an oasis in a neighborhood that was materially devastated by urban growth. El grupo está divido en secciones para desarrollar las habilidades adecuadas a la edad:
5 a 7 años Castores
7 a 11 años Manada
11 a 15 años Tropa
15 a 18 años Comunidad de caminantes
18 a 23 años Clan
El horario de las actividades son de 10:30 a 14:00 hrs todos los sábados

La estructura principal se mantiene, cono todas las de su tipo y tiempo, utilizaron materiales que han soportado el paso de los años.
Ofrecen todo tipo de servicios religiosos.

Además de ser de las primeras parroquias del siglo XVIII. los cuales actualmente entre los barrios "anónimos" de la Ciudad de México ni siquiera nos tomamos el tiempo suficiente de disfrutar, o de saber que están ahí escondidos en los lugares mas insospechados de la ciudad.
¡Esto es Iztapalapa! ¡Cuidalo!
Lamentablemente este lugar maravilloso sufrió daños por el temblor del 2017.
