El muchacho que los vendía era tan encantador,
Conversé con él, parecía tan contento,
Si llegaba tarde no me preocupaba.
Y mientras me iba, dijo
"Gracias, has sido tan amable,
Es lindo conversar con gente como tú, sabes, soy ciego".
Oh, Dios, perdóname cuando me quejo.
Tengo dos ojos, el mundo es mío.
Más tarde, cuando iba caminando por la calle
Vi un chico de ojos azules,
Se paró y miraba a otros jugar,
No sabía qué hacer.
Me detuve un momento y luego dije:
"¿Por qué no te unes a los otros, querido?"
Siguió mirando hacia delante sin decir ni una palabra.
Entonces me dí cuenta que no podía oír.
Oh, Dios, perdóname cuando me quejo
Tengo dos oídos, el mundo es mío.
Con pies que me llevan a donde quiero ir.
Con ojos para ver el brillo del sol.
Con oídos para oír lo que sé.
Oh, Dios, perdóname cuando me quejo.
En verdad he sido bendecido, el mundo es mío.
¡¡¡¡ Este poema es sólo para recordar lo mucho que tenemos que agradecer !!!!

(NOV 22 PARTY DAY) I stopped to buy candy,
The boy who sold them was so lovely,
I talked with him, he seemed so happy,
If I was late I didn't worry.
And while I was leaving, he said
"Thank you, you have been so kind,
It's nice to talk with people like you, you know, I'm blind. "
Oh God, forgive me when I complain.
I have two eyes, the world is mine.
Later, when I was walking down the street
I saw a boy with blue eyes,
He stood and watched others play,
Not know what to do.
I stopped for a moment and then said:
"Why don't you join the others, dear?"
He kept looking forward without saying a word.
Then I realized that I couldn't hear.
Oh god forgive me when I complain
I have two ears, the world is mine.
With feet that take me where I want to go.
With eyes to see the sun shine.
With ears to hear what I know.
