En esta comunidad se celebran al año dos fiestas patronales, la primera es en honor al Señor de las tres caídas y se celebra el quinto viernes de cuaresma. La segunda es en honor a Santiago Apóstol, patrono de esta comunidad la cual se celebra el 25 de julio.
Catholic temple of Santiago Amatlán, Nochixtlan Oaxaca. In this community two patron saint festivities are celebrated each year, the first is in honor of the Lord of the three falls and is celebrated on the fifth Friday of Lent. The second is in honor of Santiago Apóstol, patron of this community which is celebrated on July 25.
