La construcción de éste templo inició en la última década del siglo XVI y concluyó a principios del siglo XVII. El altar mayor es de mármol, construido en 1956 para conmemorar los 400 años de su fundación. Se festeja el día 4 de agosto. Lugar tranquilo y muy bonito, tiene varias historias para contar, ha sido mudo testigo de múltiples eventos realizados en el parque.
