Es una excelente opción visitarlo junto con el Museo del Carmen, a la que se entra sobre avenida Revolución, a un costado de la entrada del Templo. It is a very beautiful Temple. It houses paintings from the Baroque period, all or the great majority of them related to the Carmelite order. It is an excellent option to visit it together with the Museo del Carmen, which you enter on Avenida Revolución, next to the entrance of the Temple.

My name is Carmen and the Virgin with that title has been the patron saint of my family forever. As a historian, giving guided tours in that place is magical. It is like taking to know a house full of jewels of art, architecture and beauty step by step, millimeter by millimeter. The barefoot Carmelites built this place in the viceregal period and it is a true sign of peace.

Recomiendo que el recorrido sea con un guía y vale la pena volver cuando hay exposiciones especiales temporales. It is an iconic church in San Ángel that is worth visiting as well as its Museum (which is next door). I recommend that the tour be with a guide and it is worth coming back when there are temporary special exhibits.

Un altar mayor de gran hermosura, con detalles muy significativos. Lugar para oración y la reflexión. Visitada con veneración y su imágen se encuentra custodiada por ángeles de bronce de gran hermosura en su barandilla perimetral. El servicio religioso muy propio y de gran entrega. Según la ceremonia... hermosa música y voces de coro. Adjunto al templo se encuentra el museo de la orden y la cripta que custodia las momias encontradas en el lugar. El museo tiene un hermoso jardín en su parte posterior que será un deleite para la meditación. Una visita muy completa para pasar una magnífica mañana de domingo. The museum has a beautiful garden at its back which will be a delight for meditation. A very complete visit to spend a magnificent Sunday morning.
