Es de estilo neogótico. Su construcción comenzó el 8 de julio de 1921 y fue concluida (supuestamente) el 20 de marzo de 2012 con la visita del Papa Benedicto XVI. Se encuentra dentro del territorio de la Parroquia del Divino Redentor, a su vez, en el Decanato de San Sebastián.
