★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El templo sumergido era una iglesia funcional, Quechula nombre de la comunidad rural, se había sumergido bajo la superficie hace más de 50 años, cuando se construyo la presa de Nezahualcóyotl, también conocida como la presa Malpaso. Sus habitantes fueron reubicados. En verano o tiempo de sequía es cuando emerge y se alcanza a ver parte de la estructura de la iglesia. En temporada de lluvia no es posible verla, ya que el nivel del agua se eleva y esta queda sumergida.
The submerged temple was a functional church, Quechula name of the rural community, had submerged below the surface more than 50 years ago, when the Nezahualcóyotl dam, also known as the Malpaso dam, was built. Its inhabitants were relocated. In summer or dry weather is when it emerges and part of the structure of the church can be seen. In the rainy season it is not possible to see it, since the water level rises and it remains submerged.
