Con 35 años desde su fundación por Enrique Norten (Ciudad de México, 1954) y más de 60 proyectos construidos, TEN Arquitectos (Taller de Enrique Norten Arquitectos) cuenta con un extenso portafolio de proyectos culturales, residenciales, hoteles e infraestructura. Con oficinas en la Ciudad de México, Nueva York y Miami, se diseña siempre con perspectiva global y sensibilidad internacional.

Este acercamiento binacional ha atraído proyectos de todas partes del mundo, incluyendo el Guggenheim Museum de Guadalajara, la New York Public Library, la Escuela Nacional de Teatro en la Ciudad de México y la Rutgers Business School en New Jersey.

Un gran sentido de comunidad de su natal México es evidente en todos los trabajos de Enrique Norten. Una fuerte conexión con el sitio y la gente permanece como una base de cada proyecto, sin importar su ubicación o tipología. Los proyectos de TEN Arquitectos reconcilian la estética con el bien común: proyectos sustentables que son social, ambiental, política y económicamente responsables.

Esta aproximación derivada del proceso, ha traído reconocimientos nacionales e internacionales como el Premio Mies van der Rohe de Arquitectura Latinoamericana, reconocimientos por los American Institute of Architects nacionales y de varios estados de EE. UU., Architectural Record, Architect Magazine, Architizer, Bienales en México, Argentina y Ecuador; el Royal Institute of British Architects, entre otros.

With 35 years since its foundation by Enrique Norten and more than 60 built works, TEN Arquitectos has a portfolio that covers different kind of projects such as cultural, residential, hotels and infrastructure. With offices in México City, New York and Miami the design work is always made with a global perspective and an international sensibility.

This binational approach has attracted projects from different places of the world, including the Guggenheim Museum of Guadalajara, the New York Public Library, the National Theater School of México City and the Rutgers Business School in New Jersey.

A great sense of community from his native México is implicit in all Enrique Norten’s works. This process-driven approach has resulted in countless awards, both nationally and internationally, which include: First Prize Mies van der Rohe of Latin American Architecture; state and national AIA Design Awards, Architectural Record, Architect Magazine, Architizer, biennials in México, Argentina and Ecuador; the Royal Institute of British Architects, among others.
