Tequila Barrel Casino and Nightclub - 77710 Playa del Carmen

Came here to watch the Mcgregor fight. They have this super nice place in the back with tables but there is a minimum amount you have for spend on food and drinks. The waiters were nice and the place was trendy.

Great bar that served good drinks at a good price. The DJ was playing a mix, the employees weren’t pushy at all, even the girl who’s job it was to bring you in. Lots of small tables and bar seating.

Fully unsatisfied although staff was friendly. Where I was today there, I went in also attracted by the promotion of beer. Unfortunately I have been informed after the 3rd pint that it counts only the craft ones while asking before... Other point was to wait approximately 30 min to my change and this afternoon was not a high frequency. Sorry!

My friends and I had fun until we ordered don Julio and we got some gross tequila that definitely was not don Julio. Said something to the waitress and bar manager and they attempted to say that it was but it definitely was not. I gave them 2 stars because it was fun until I felt like we were being taken advantage of

I am travelling alone and wanted to have a few drinks, dance and listen to good music but the way they run tables is extremely rude. I got Moved 3 times even though the tables I was sitting at we’re not reserved (I asked). To be fair the first time was because I was smoking in the wrong section which was a metre away from the actual section both being pumped with the smoke from the DJ anyway. So I go to sit down somewhere else and was quickly made to get up to let a group of three sit down. Then I find another seat, sit there for a while and then get moved to let another group of women in. I’m fine with going out alone but it’s embarrassing to be made to move because of that! They are long sofa chairs which in both cases I could have still fit with the people that wanted to join. The standard I’ve experienced anywhere else is that if you are sitting somewhere first then you have priority and other people are welcome to join. Horrible experience. I left after 2 drinks. You’d think because I was visibly upset that they would offer a free drink at least. Usually when travelling I’ve experienced people making extra effort to make me feel comfortable as a single woman and they made me feel like absolute trash because I wasn’t part of a big group spending a ton of money. I was buying premium cocktails but the group next to me buying the cheapest beers had no problem….not that I’m saying they should I just don’t get it.

This was our 2nd time there and we had a blast, got a great table right in front, great music and attentive service all night long. Bottle prices are very reasonable. Plenty of views (to include the dancers all night long). Would surely return here when in Playa!

This place was amazing for a football Sunday. Great crowds and great people. Reserve your seat is my recommendation. We didn't but got very lucky with perfect seats. Service wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. Everything else made up for it. Wish I could stay here every football Sunday. Enjoy ????

We had so much fun at this place. Good music, good vibes, friendly staff, cool DJ, and a lot more. Our bartender was awesome, don't remember his name. We asked him to make us whatever he thinks it's best and I liked the drinks he made us. Highly recommend this place if you want to have a fun evening
