Tequilera Puerta de Hierro S.A. de C.V. es una empresa que nace y se desarrolla en El Arenal, Jalisco, México; situado en un lugar estratégico que además de ser la Cuna del Agave es la puerta de la Ruta del Tequila y del Paisaje Agavero, por lo que ha incrementado fuertemente el sector turístico de la región ya que representa una excelente oportunidad para conocer y aprender de forma intima en que consiste la producción del tequila artesanal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Si visitas Jalisco y vas a hacer el tour del tequila tienes que venir a este lugar. Te muestran del proceso para hacer el tequila y te dan una cata de estos al final del recorrido. Mi tequila favorito fue el extra añejo.
 If you visit Jalisco and you are going to do the tequila tour, you have to come to this place. They show you the process to make tequila and give you a tasting of these at the end of the tour. My favorite tequila was the extra añejo.

Their extra añejo aged in wine barrels is a liquor unlike any other you will find in the area.
Even their basic blanco is bright and floral.

- I wish the gift shop sold more things that i saw around the factory and online. I would have liked to buy the glasses. There was a delicious plata tequila that i tried but it wasn't for sale. I would have thought they would have limited edition items in their factory store that are not available in the liquor store
- the tequila factory price isn't that much cheaper than liquor store price.
