★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were ripped off by one of the employees, Sam. We were told we would be purchasing one bottle worth "about $60", one worth "about $130" and one worth "about $35." After looking at our credit card statement back at the hotel, they charged us for 10,000 MXN or $600 CAD. The card was processed by a young kid, and we were not shown the total amount. $600 for 2.5 bottles of mediocre mezcal, and extremely deceitful staff who were happy to steal our money. Avoid, obviously.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got ripped off at this place for $500. Sam was super nice at first, then when it came time to pay, there was a literal child working the register and they didn't show me the total amount, as he said the bottles I was buying would be about $100 USD... When I left there was a bouncer at the door. Got back to my hotel and checked the balance on my card and was obviously angry. Messaged him on Instagram and he blocked me.
Buyer beware. DO NOT shop here, total scam.
