Teresa's is one of the best tacos in town. They open at six during tourist season. Many locals eat here, and it's a place they recommended often when I first moved here a few years ago. I hit this place up first thing upon my return if I've been away for very long. Teresa has gladly accommodated vegan and vegetarian diners I've brought to her, and she always has a person to translate. Also, Teresa's is very affordable. 100 pesos will get you five generous tacos. If you are coming up from Punta Mita beach, it's very easy to walk the three blocks to Teresa's and it's worth it.

All the food was great - service was great - Highly recommended if you are looking for authentic Mexican food priced right. Average price was about 30 pesos per item. If you want alcohol - bring you own beer or wine no problema. 4 of us ate to full for under 20 US dollars with tip.

Great family business with friendly service and great food. Opens at 7 pm. Handmade tortillas. I asked for squash as I am a vegetarian. It wasn't on the menu, but they made it anyway. Very accomodating. Affordable, too.

Authentic mexican food, excellent cuisine, friendly and relaxed, BYOB. Highly reccomended, a place Tony Bourdain would have loved. Come early if you want to seat at a table. Opens at 7 pm .

On this visit to Punto De Mita we had a goal of trying out some of the local taco places. Teresa's Tacos deserves a call out. Open only for dinner they occupy the street corner and open up the kitchen to the street. The vibe is nothing like any other place in town, everything is well illuminated, the kitchen and outdoor tables and chairs are all white and are matched sets (many taquerias feature an assortment of "tables" and seating from old outdoor chairs, boxes and such. That has no bearing on the food served but it's a standout difference that we enjoyed) . Place is super clean. Now i know this potentially sounds sterile, but it's not. Service is warm, quick, and polite, English is well understood. Food is FANTASTIC, fast and a great value. Take some with you for a midnight taco or two. We'll be back on our next trip down.

It is not flashy but it is delicious and they get lots of local business. Their stand is set up on the side of the street, is very well lit and easy to find. We only had tacos but they were all delicious.
