Food is great...order a cinnamon roll and the chilaquiles...but service is not up to par for a place like this!

Lovely atmosphere. We ordered two sandwiches and two pasta dishes. Lemonade was delicious. The food took over 40 minutes to receive. Free Wi-Fi was appreciated for the long wait. Sandwiches were ok. I enjoyed my pasta. Pastries were alright as well. Cake was dry. For the number of recommendations and high ratings, we left somewhat disappointed. But again absolutely lovely to be outside by the waterfall and pond.

Delicious desserts! Food was good but they close early, frecuently full place. Recommendation: Try the triple chocolate mouse?

Bad experience. Never going back. I was just in Alamos to celebrate my mother‘s 91st birthday. Two weeks prior I made a reservation for a party of 14 for breakfast. When we arrived we were actually 21 of us which took them about 15 minutes to accommodate us. They had the tables but they had no chairs available. That wasn’t the bad part. It took them 45 minutes to take our order. And that was just for coffee. It took so long some of my family members went to the bakery and stood in line to order coffee. When the server finally came to take our order we gave her our drink order as well as our food order. Time passed by until I told a male server we haven’t received our drinks so he began helping the original service with drinks. I had originally asked for water and green Chilaquiles. Well The drinks were coming sporadically. I never got my water. The first entrées to arrive at our table were two plates of French toast. My cousin ordered one and then she asked who ordered the other one and we all said no. Then she goes to the second table of 4 and asked them and they said no, then she goes to the next table of 3 and they said no. So she came back to my table and asked again and we said no. she looked confused and went away only to return to Say well someone ordered it and placed it in the middle of the table and left! Are you kidding?? So I got up, picked up the plate and went to the two tables and asked if anyone ordered french toast. Everyone said no. It was the servers mistake!! At that point I wasn’t gonna complain for a seven dollar plate so I asked my nephew if he wanted it and he said fine. Minutes past everyone got the drinks I never got my water. Eventually plates started coming out of the kitchen people are getting served random times. No one really ate together and I never got my green Chilaquiles. Everybody was eating except for me. My family asked where is yours I said don’t know I never got my water so my cousin says you could have mine. My mom add an extra small plate and I ate a little of everyone’s dish. Why because my green chiliquiles never came. For your information, the red chiliquiles were terrible, the green chilequiles were better but they serve so much eventually it became redundant and tired of eating the same thing. The service was really bad, the server did not organize the order. My cousin just said it’s a small town therefore you cannot expect good service. I disagree. That evening we went to Hacienda de Los Santos for dinner and the service was impeccable.. We chose not to complain. We finally got up to leave after being there longer than we really wanted to. At the front door a lady with the Covid mask asked me how was my experience and my meal and I said it was fine thank you very much. I LIED. Why bother saying anything since I feel it was her fault for not hiring more servers when it was a weekend and I assume this restaurant is busy on the weekends and they knew they were having a group coming in. And it was her fault for not training her staff well enough to handle groups. Besides I didn’t plan on returning ever again and I just wanted to leave because we’d been there too long and now we’re behind schedule. All 21 of us felt the same that the food wasn’t worth going back. I do have to give credit to the marketer who markets this restaurant As one of the best restaurants in Alamos. Clearly it’s not. Was it clean, yes. was it pretty, yes. Was it worth it, no.

Update 1/15/2021: Retailer issues: I was double-charged for two bottles of Bacanora I bought, and they refused to refund my credit card. After two months and my credit card company reaching out to them on my behalf, I have been refunded (incorrect amount, but the few dollars isn't worth the fight). The manager messaged on this review, and I have called a total of 15 times to make contact --I am hung up on most of the time. What a total disappointment; look elsewhere for Sonora-inspired gifts.

Excellent food and cozy place!!!, We ordered the "crepa de chicharron" (pork belly crepe) and "cacerola de huevos escalfados" (poached eggs casserole) and both were delicious!!!. Be advised the crepe is spicy. Portions are not huge but you won't leave hungry

A great little cafe bistro. We didn’t have a meal but did have a very nice, albeit tiny, latte. The Lemon Pie was out of this world and the Cheesecake Broulee will be sampled on a later visit because that looked amazing too. Nice ambience, a modern French feel with non-irritating background jazz muzak and a sweet outdoor patio. The tiled oven wall in a mass of blue and white tile is worth a look too. Could have done with a larger coffee but everything else was spot on.
