★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolutely horrible experience. I’m traveling a lot for business but waiting 1.5 hours for luggage after 12 hour flight in 2020 is absolut unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terminal was fully renovated, everything was brand new. Lots of food and drink options as soon as you get through security, which was a breeze and only took about 5 minutes to complete

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We traveled through Cancun from Guatemala . My family and I flew Southwest Airlines to Atlanta, GA. There is only about 5 outlets for 20 gates. Make sure you charge your prior coming to this terminal. I just thought the terminal would have more outlets available for the people needing to charge their devices. I don't think I want to do another stopover here.

Email we received said that we should arrive to the airport for check in 4 hours before departure but the check in desk was not opened until 2 and half hour before departure. Right after we checked in, we were headed to the security control. The security control was closed which I have never seen in my life! We waited there for about 20 minutes until they opened one counter (around 4 am) - of course there are no seats before the security control.
Since we were taken water away at the security control, we decided to buy a bottle of water in duty shop or in a restaurant. BUT there was not a single store opened nor there was a water fontaine!!! And since water from the tap should not be drank in Mexico, there was no water for us for several hours!! HORRIBLE!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very hot like 90 Fahrenheit (more than 32 Celsius) and very beautiful view! The operation of the airport wasn’t the best thou very late in providing gate and accurate information at landing.
