★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful there are thieves even in the middle of the day out there. In our case it was a woman and two men. The woman has black hair and little curls, dimples from the sun, is about 50 years old and is of a bit lighter complexion than most mexicans. One of the men is really tall, about 1,85 m to 1,90 m, has very short hair and has the average mexican skin complexion. They are about 40-50 years old and they don't look poor so you won't get suspicious. One of them put sauce that looks like mud on our backpack, then the woman pointed out it was dirty and told us we should wash it away with water in the bathroom. When my friend wanted to go in the bathroom. There was a man going into the bathroom, one behind him and they tried to corner him. Be careful! Better stay in the middle of the crowd and stay away from people who don't have much baggage with them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great way to visit Bacalar. You can buy your tickets in advance from their east to use website. The facilities are clean and the service was great. This station has an ATM and a small convenience store to buy snacks for your trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Funcional ADO bus terminal. It would be nice if the staff were a little more friendly or pleasant. I felt I was inconveniencing their day by asking a question. Other than that, the bus service is pretty good and comfortable. Usually they are on time but not always.
