The port of Puerto Vallarta receives cruise ships on a regular basis during the tourist season. The docks (Muelle de Cruceros Puerto Vallarta) can berth three cruise ships simultaneously. Trips to the El Centro old town and its beach front and tourist markets, including some art stores, are available. The beach front has been recently undergoing additional improvements to the Malecon, a long promenade along the beach with numerous sculptures, restaurants, night clubs, access to boat-pulled paragliding over the bay, and various other tourist specific activities and markets.

Was fairly convenient on and off. It is a short cab ride to town and th we boardwalk.

The cruise terminal is easy to get to, easy to get back from, and easy to navigate inside. (Pro tip: if you want one of the yellow and white fixed price city cabs, walk across the street when you leave the port. The cabs at the port make up their own prices. You can negotiate with them or just go across the street.)

Not a true terminal so to speak. For those cruising to Cabo, the cruise ship is kept out in the water way, and passengers are tendered in. From the "terminal", it's a short walk to the boardwalk.

Great terminal, lots of shops, not necessarily the lowest pricing. Ean and we laid out. Lots of good signage.

This is the main cruise port in Puerto Vallarta and it is amazing to see the behemoths docked. Facilities are very nice at the port, with several stores and food options. This is the place to go when one needs to take a tour to Las Caletas or other beaches only accessible by boat. Still, even seeing the cruise ships approaching the port can be entertaining in itself.
