Creo es importante sepan la forma en cómo actúa esta empresa de seguro. Mi esposa y yo contratamos un seguro de viaje al extranjero (US). Pagando 2 semanas del seguro. El problema empezó cuando mi esposa se cayó en US y se rompió un hueso. Su servicio de respuesta muy malo ya que esperamos 2 días para saber a donde fuéramos a que la revisaran. Y al final la empresa aún viendo la rotura de unos rayos X. No quiso pagar la operación y ni el viaje de repatriación para que pudiéramos regresar a nuestra casa. La realidad es que cuando surgen los problemas la prioridad NO SON SUS CLIENTES sino darte razones sin fundamento para no pagar a lo que su póliza de viaje ofrece.
Realmente recomiendo busquen otra opción porque ellos cuando se pone difícil. No responden.
Y ahórrense la contestación por aquí. Que solo es un telón para hacer creer que les interesa lo que les sucede a sus clientes.

I think it is important to know how this insurance company acts. My wife and I take out travel insurance abroad (US). Paying 2 weeks of insurance. The problem started when my wife fell in the US and broke a bone. Your response service is very bad since we waited 2 days to find out where we were going to have it checked. And in the end, the company was still seeing the breakage of some X-rays. They did not want to pay for the operation or the repatriation trip so that we could return home. The reality is that when problems arise the priority IS NOT YOUR CUSTOMERS but to give you unfounded reasons not to pay what your travel policy offers.
I really recommend looking for another option because when it gets difficult. They do not answer.
And save yourself the answer here. That it is only a curtain to make believe that they are interested in what happens to their clients.

Contraté un seguro con Terrawind para un Crucero el 23-Jul-20 para un total de 10 pasajeros. El crucero se canceló y tuve que iniciar el trámite con Terrawind para el reembolso desde el 19-Sep-21. HAN PASADO MÁS DE 9 MESES, despúes del envío de incontable documentación y la aseguradora lo único que dice es "nuestro departamento de auditoria sigue revisando el caso". Mi seguro tenía una cláusua "any reason", es decir, que por cualquier motivo de cancelación se aplicaba el reembolso... y la aseguradora sigue revisando. DE VERDAD NEFASTOS... si van a comprar un viaje y les ofrecen seguro con TERRAWIND, en verdad pienselo muy bien si valorar su salud emocional.

Más de $17mil pesos tirados a la basura y no pudieron realizar un simple reembolso para daño de equipaje.
Pésimo trato, sin respuesta por su aplicación ni por correo.
No desperdicien su dinero y busquen un seguro viajero con alguien mas.
Les daría -5 estrellas si se pudiera.
NEVER take out insurance or with MUNDO JOVEN, MUCH LESS WITH TERRAWIND.
More than $17 thousand pesos thrown away and they could not make a simple reimbursement for luggage damage.
Terrible treatment, no response by your application or by mail.
Don't waste your money and look for travel insurance with someone else.
I would give them -5 stars if I could.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lamento no haber leído las reseñas de esta aseguradora antes de contratar veo muchas opiniones similares a la mia.
Llevo ya 6 meses sin mi reembolso en el cual nadie puede apoyarme se les manda correos y no responden y luego dicen que no se les envía documentación la cual se envió en tiempo y forma tengo todos los correos de respaldo.
No pierdan su tiempo contratando su seguro con esta empresa por lo que veo tendré que cobrar por la vía legal.
I regret not having read the reviews of this insurer before hiring, I see many opinions similar to mine.
I have been 6 months without my refund in which no one can support me, they are sent emails and they do not respond and then they say that documentation was not sent to them, which was sent in a timely manner and I have all the supporting emails.
Do not waste your time contracting your insurance with this company, from what I see I will have to collect by legal means.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Compre un seguro de gastos médicos de accidente para otros países. Y tuve que ingresar al hospital por emergencia. Y esta empresa no me rembolso ningún gastos por accidente. Pague una buena cantidad de dinero y al final solo se quedaron con la prima porque su política es de no pagar y darte cualquier pretexto. BUSQUEN OTRA OPCIÓN sino quieren una sorpresa.
Buy accident medical insurance for other countries. And I had to go to the hospital for an emergency. And this company did not reimburse me for any accident expenses. I paid a good amount of money and in the end they only kept the premium because their policy is not to pay and give you any excuse. LOOK FOR ANOTHER OPTION if you don't want a surprise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sacamos un seguro de viaje por accidentes para el extranjero y tuvieron que ir al hospital y está gente de Terrawind no quisieron pagar la operación de rotura de ligamentos simplemente porque ellos decidieron que no debían de operarse. Aun cuando la póliza era exactamente para eso.
Creo que dan mucha atención por teléfono pero cuando realmente tienen que hacerse responsable de lo importante. No lo hacen.
OJO. Todos esos buenos comentarios que aparecen los ponen cada vez que um cliente real se queja. Para que estén al tanto.
Les recomiendo que ahorren su dinero o mejor vayan a otro lugar donde si respondan por los accidentes que dicen cubrir.
Son una pena realmente!!!
We took out travel insurance for accidents abroad and they had to go to the hospital and these people from Terrawind did not want to pay for the ligament rupture operation simply because they decided that they should not have the operation. Even though the policy was exactly for that.
I think they give a lot of attention over the phone, but when they really have to take responsibility for what is important. They do not do it.
EYE. All those good comments that appear are put up every time a real customer complains. So that they are aware.
I recommend that you save your money or better go to another place where they do respond for the accidents that they claim to cover.
They are really a shame!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrawind is the most awful, dishonest company I have ever dealt with. Never buy their policies! Due to COVID 19 we couldn't travel so we had to file a claim for just a very small amount ($158). They made us complete and scan 14 different horrendous documents and it took forever to get them to send their documents and requests in English. After about 20 emails or more and waiting 3 months they finally paid us only $118.50, as they claimed there was a deductible amount. This deductible was not on the original policy that they sold us - it was only on their reply. Now I have sent them 4 more emails and they won't reply. They do everything in their power not to pay out claims!
