You really have to go to this amazing restaurant! This is definitely the best restaurant in the historic center of Mexico City! Very friendly personal, amazing food and a great atmosphere!!! Biggest recommendation ?

A very nice place for refinded Mexican food. Ingredients were so fresh, service was incredibly amazing! Didnt know the city was cold at night at the first night we arrived so i only dressed a shirt dress. The server, Oscar passed me a blanket just to let me enjoy the dinner. Such a great service! Not even the dishes were delicious, but also the drinks were made by heart!! Must visit if you were in Mexico!!

Great food and worth the effort to find it after Google maps lead us to the wrong place. Props to the other reviewer mentioning that it's on the top of the Casa de la Luz hotel! Sitting down prompts delivery of warm tortillas and some amazing red concoction of our flavor to start with. By itself worth the trip. Pre-dinner drinks we mezcal based and wise choices. The burning rosemary in mine was an interesting touch. I got the ensalada Calabasas which was a warm salad with some incredible dressings like a chili oil. Doesn't matter what it is when it's that good. I actually only ate about 80% and abandoned thoughts of another plate for dinner because it was so large. Wife had gordas which were also amazing. Best I can do for the filling is "some kind of beef". Dessert was almost a show as we watched the chef hand spin the sugar flood and form into a ball as decoration for the baked plantain. Photos attached. Extra credit to the staff for reading my wife's card for gluten sensitivity and caring about not making her sick. Take it from me, you gotta go.

Finally the best place I’ve ever imagine. The most kind people. Everything in the Menu is delicious. The price worth it. It became in my favorite restaurant.

We live in Chicago and since we have a big mexican community we're used to mexican food. This time we were looking for traditional cuisine with a gourmet twist. This place is amazing: the food, the setting and specially the service is outstanding. Oscar & Jesus were great and guided us throughout this excellent experience. We highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking to taste traditional mexican food and get out your comfort zone.

Delicious restaurant with amazing staff. Their cocktails were high class as well. The servers were extremely friendly and attentive and I especially enjoyed the hand-made tortillas and salsas by the lady. Top experience. Try the mezcal and tequila cocktails!

This place is so good! Every bite was delicious, exactly what you call “taste explosion”. The space is chick, clean, modern. The only minus - it’s really hot, somehow the patio is not ventilated well at all. Maybe they’ll put more fans around soon. In spite of this - would definitely come back!
