Well run little hostel with nice room options at least in 2018.

Very chill and honestly the best hostel experience I've had in awhile. I gave 4 stars due to the maggot problem, lack of blender, and mistreatment of the volunteers. It was so hard to watch the owner. The female owner doesn't want you there and moves your things while you are present. Gross. And don't get a private way too expensive for what you receive. Pluses: quiet, close to everything, easily accessible, secure, can exist if you don't really leave the hostel, clean pool, and comfortable atmosphere. Very cool volunteers. Go for the three day deal and pay $250 per night.

If I could give this place 0stars I would. It was horrendous. The beds are falling apart. It’s incredibly loud wherever you are. Wifi doesn’t work .. just. Don’t go there.

I feel terrible, I don’t like writing bad reviews unless the customer service is really bad, which it wasn’t here. However, this goes beyond my limits. Every night I would be scratching myself not knowing if I had a new allergy or if there was mosquitos in the room, so I changed beds. Then, same thing happened and I saw two tiny things crawling on my neck and first reflex was : bed bugs! But they weren’t. People on the internet told me these looked more like fleas, and indeed, they didn’t follow me home (thankfully). As I said, their customer service was great, they let me arrive/leave with my luggage before checkin and after checkout. I never told them about this problem because I was only sleeping there and didn’t have the chance to cross paths with the staff, but for the same or less money you can get better in Sayulita ??‍♀️

Belgian 29y male - Belgian male 27y - Mexican 26y female Prvt 3 bed Our experience wasn't the best. The owners didn't make us feel welcome. The vibe was a bit strange in the hostel. Our room was clean, but the shared spaces weren't at all: in the showers there was hair/razors/soap paper/ shampoo for a couple of days straight. Also the hallway and the sink were dusty and obviously not cleaned for a couple of days. Not exactly covid friendly as they promise on their website We don't recommend.

Me and my wife stayed here for a week in a private room while she was learning to surf at the Wildmex surfcamp. Room nr 1 faces the street, which is one of the main streets. so we had a bit of noise at night from traffic, but the hostel is removed from the busiest part of town so no party noise thankfully. The second day, handymen came to replace the air conditioning which we hadn’t noticed was broken until then since the temperatures were not so high, at least not at night, but they could have mentioned this to us before. One staff member called Elder was especially helpful during our stay. That, plus the nice interactions with other guests and the convenient location with some very good food options right in the street made it a good experience. Not all staff members have the same vibe, though, but in general they are helpful. The availability of a kitchen, fridge and drinkable water fountain were nice amenities to us. Would stay again, but try to get a private room not facing the street.
