The Argentina Empanadas and More - 83553 Puerto Peñasco

We stopped for the first time today and definitely won’t be our last. We got the Original, Caprese, Shrimp and Ham/Cheese. They were all delicious and the chimichurri is a great addition to it. Go off the beaten path and visit this place! Forgot to take a better picture before enjoying them.

This gem of a restaurant is a must if you're in Rocky Point. The food is delish and the atmosphere is relaxing. Patty and Carlos are professional and fun hosts. Try this place out, you will be glad you did.❤

One of my favorite places to eat in Peñasco! The food is outstanding. Fresh handmade everything. What stands out the most is Patty and Carlos the owners and operators that are amazing people! This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation and wonderful desserts I recommend to everyone! I will come back here again and again. Patty the owner and host was absolutely amazing. She made our afternoon snack memorable. The empanadas were equally as good. My wife had the apple and banana Nutella since she loved sweets. I had the original, spinach with cheese and the cheese steak. Mine also came with a Chimichurri sauce and a red smokey hot sauce. Each of the empanadas were excellent. I’m definitely going to come back every time I’m in town.

I can't say enough good things about the food from here and I also have some words about the owners at the end of this review. The empanadas were absolutely delicious... They were traditional but also with a bit of Mexican flare.. Even some American taste (with Philly empanadas). I know because I grew up eating this food. Our group of 15 family members on vacation had the fortune of tasting the food and they were absolutely delighted with the food. We had the savory empanadas and topped it off with the dessert empanadas. I bought a total of 5 dozen and they were gone in minutes, everyone raving about how good they were. Let me say that i had the fortune to meet the owners and they were the nicest couple you could meet. They were genuinely happy to have served us and took the time to come out and chat with us. They even offered us free water bottles. Absolutely charming couple. I will 100% return to buy here again.

This place was incredible!!!! We will be coming back each time we visit Rocky Point. Every single dessert empanada was wonderful and yes we tried them all! You can't go wrong. For the dinner options I had the ham & cheese, shrimp & cheese and the caprese. They were all delicious but the caprese stands out as my favorite.The dough was very light & flakey! I look forward to going back and trying the beef options.

Really tasty, authentic treat. We sat down to a dozen, which quickly turned in to two dozen. Savory or sweet, your choice. The owner was so nice! Small roadside shop, they just opened 3 days prior. Very good, highly recommend!

Best empanadas I've ever had!! Got the pineapple and cream, and Dulce de leche and Pecan. They were made fresh and amazing! Get a dozen on your way in town and a dozen on your way out.
