★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cool place, and really wanted to like it...but the haircut I got was very bad...just super uneven, the back was weirdly long and I've been having to comb and style it creatively to cover it up since. Sadly will need to keep looking for a good men's haircut place in the neighborhood

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to some other big city classic barbers, and they trade too much on nostalgia and experience.
This place has the look and feel, but also unbeatable quality of service. By far the best haircut. And while I didn't get a shave, they neatened me up with a straight razor, so I am sure that would be great also.
For Americans: around 1/8 th what you'd pay for such service in the US. Treat yourself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been here before and had a good experience. Today though the oil they used smelled rancid and sweet like fermented chewing gum. I walked into the bathroom to find half my mustache shaved off. I’m on my way home to shave off my beard for the first time in a year.

It's more of a beauty salon disguised as a Barbershop, lots of oil and cream and wooden decorations but staff has no actual technique.
If you're looking for a proper Barbershop experience try something else in the area.
The main attendant speaks so quietly you can barely hear him, not even the rest of the staff understands him.
