La Gran Ciudad nace en la década de los 70´s con el nombre de Zapaterias León con sede en la ciudad de Atlacomulco. Fundado por Don Diego Ramírez Becerra, fundador y propietario del grupo.
Al correr de los años comienza el desarrollo y expansión del grupo con las marcas D´Lyx y Calzaluxe, durante ese trayecto también comenzó la comercialización de las marcas más importantes a nivel nacional y con el paso de los años la consolidación del grupo fue en aumento progresivo.
En el año 2009 se toma la decisión estratégica de renovar la marca e incursionar en el ramo de las tiendas departamentales con el nombre de La Gran Ciudad.
Actualmente La Gran Ciudad cuenta con un amplio y hermoso piso de exhibición, con instalaciones de primer mundo, ofertando las mejores marcas y de mayor prestigio a nivel nacional e internacional.
No sólo es un concepto grande por su infraestructura, inversión y procesos; La Gran Ciudad es un proceso sólido por sus marcas, por su experiencia y por su historia.
Estamos orgullosos de compartir que desde hace 50 años ofrecemos un estilo de vida a todas las familias de la región norte del Estado de México y Michoacán.

Cuenta con estacionamiento, baños y área de juego para quienes van con sus peques.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mal el servicio solo buscaba un artículo y no le tuvieron, cuando vas a liverpool no te exigen compra para sellar tu boleto de estacionamiento, en mejores tiendas que esta te dan el servicio de manera cortés solo estuve 15 min en su establecimiento porque ya iban a cerrar, no compré nada porque no había nada más de mi interés
Y ni por cortesía pudieron sellar el boleto, si tal vez llevara más de una hora en el estacionamiento y quisiera de manera ventajosa que me lo sellarán, ese si sería un error mío.
Pero si entras por algo que vas a ocupar y no lo tienen y estás el tiempo mínimo es cortés que te realicen una atención.
Cómo vas a comprar algo que no utilizas y nadamás para que no te cobren estacionamiento.
Pero bueno liverpool, Sanborns y hasta Chedraui ven el tiempo que estuviste en el estacionamiento y si no hay lo que buscas de manera directa te dan el estacionamiento de cortesía.
Ah y muy elitistas.
The service was bad, I was only looking for an item and they didn't have it, when you go to liverpool they don't require you to buy to stamp your parking ticket, in better stores than this one they give you the service in a courteous way I was only 15 minutes in their establishment because they were already going to close, I didn't buy anything because there was nothing else of interest to me
And not even out of courtesy could they stamp the ticket, if perhaps it had been in the parking lot for more than an hour and I wanted it advantageously to be stamped, that would be my mistake.
But if you enter for something that you are going to occupy and they do not have it and you are there for the minimum time, it is courteous that they pay attention to you.
How are you going to buy something you don't use and nothing else so that they don't charge you for parking.
But hey, Liverpool, Sanborns and even Chedraui see how long you were in the parking lot and if there isn't what you're looking for directly, they give you courtesy parking.
Oh and very elitist.
