The Club Grill - 77500 Cancún

Amazing dining experience! The service here is top notch. We were well taken care of during our entire meal. From the amuse-bouche to our starters, the house made bread selection, the mains, and our course their legendary souffle, everything was cooked to perfection. They had live music and what seemed to be more staff than diners! If you are staying in the hotel or are just looking for the perfect meal, this is the place.

From the amazing staff to spectacular food to phenomenal live music, The Club Grill surpassed anything we could have imagined. We loved it so much we returned for dinner a second night during our vacation. Highly recommend!

We have gone to Cancun 6 times in the last 7 years and have been to Club Grill twice for dinner. Each time was spectacular. Their service is that of a 3 star Michelin restaurant. The staff puts a lot of effort into making sure your experience is top notch. Their foie gras is some of the best we’ve had in the world, and the tasting menu hits all the flavor profiles you’re looking for in a quality fine dining meal. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary here based on the great reviews it received. It turned out to be the correct decision. The restaurant is very elegant, the service is superb, and the food is very good (not great). Between the two of us we had the foie gras (great but very little), corn soup (outstanding), striped bass (overcooked and/or not very fresh fish - coming from Baja California), and soufflé grand marnier (great texture but too little grand marnier), and a bottle of Pascal Joliet (lovely Loire wine). Considering the very satisfying overall experience our evening provided what we paid was quite reasonable (cheap by New York prices.) We find almost all Cancun restaurants, especially those on the Lagoon, unbearably noisy during dinner time. We were happy with the low level of agreeable recorded music that was played until a piano player, accompanied by a bass player, took over. He was good but very loud. I know, many diners commented favorably about the live music but we’re not going back because of that.

Oscar and his team are the best! We thoroughly enjoyed dinner and the music. We are not dancers, but the dance floor was enticing. I was really satisfied with the meal, and the service is second to none. Perhaps the best duck I've ever had; top three at worst, and that's out of a large sample size! I can also recommend the corn soup, which I'm told has been the only soup on the menu for decades -- no need for any other offerings. We finished the evening with the Grand Marnier souffle and port. This is a five diamond restaurant, and it shows everywhere except the bill; very economical for find dining such as this.

The bestest high end restaurant in Cancun, totally worth the money. The staff is very friendly and explains everything in detail and serves with elegance. The pear salad was so fresh. The main duck dish was the best duck I've ever had. Super soft, moist, juicy, but not raw, perfectly cooked. Just thinking about it makes me drool! We also ordered amazing white and red wine recommended by the somelier. We also ordered all of the desserts. The chocolate cake was a little heavy on rum and mamei was mediocre in a way that we couldn't taste the mamei much. The vanilla and caramel ice cream was the best which were assorted in two desserts.

An unforgettable and unique experience! We have been several times to the Ritz Carlton Cancun and it was our first time at the Club Grill. We had an amazing dinner with an exceptional service. The staff is very friendly and obliging. We called in last minute to postpone our reservation 30 minutes and it was no problem at all. After a warm welcome we were seated at a very nice table from where we were able to enjoy the lovely live Piano music. We ordered two out of the three recommendations from the waiter and didn’t regret it at all - it was delicious. I have to admit that I had the best duck dish I’ve ever tasted - being European, I already had eaten lots of different duck dishes. The waiters were very attentive and every single wish we had was satisfied immediately. At this point I have to point out the restaurant manager who is really a lovely, adorable and at the same time extremely professional person. It was not only because of the delicious and remarkably exquisite dinner that we spontaneously decided to make another reservation for two days later, but also because of the excellent service and the extremely friendly restaurant manager. We are definitely coming back!!!

Out of this world food and service. Felt like a Queen. A complimentary aperitif and squash soup were also good. We ordered foie gras and octopus carpaccio. They were exciting and supple. The octopus was like nothing I had ever had and the foie gras was probably the best I’d ever had. For our main course, we had the rib-eye and sea bass. They were properly cooked and seasoned well. Still the appetizers were the shining stars. For dessert. We spilt a decadent chocolate mousse. At the end of the meal, I was presented a single red rose. Throughout the night, the waiters were so attentive. The only downside was the CONSTANT cries and screams of children from infants to toddlers having meltdowns at EVERY SINGLE TABLE. They even drowned out the live jazz piano. We were the only table without children. No fault of the restaurant, but ruined our very special night and made it not special.
