★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This ice cream shop is always my very first stop when visiting Merida. Even while on the descent into the airport I am already having a dilemma on what flavour to choose. Coco? Mango? Cirhuela? Everything tastes sooooo good! You want to savour every spoonful but the weather is so warm that you need to eat fast before the ice cream melts! Honestly, is there a more heavenly conundrum? Eat here. You'll be hooked for the rest of your life :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a locally owned. The first one, located in the heart of the city downtown, is part of Mérida's historic places. The flavor of their ice cream is fantastic! You have to try it! Champola of crema morisca is my favorite, which is sort of a float made of Milk (instead of soda) and dried guava candy ice-cream. Also try the sweet treats... They are really great! People from all over the country take them as a must souvenir when visiting Merida from another city.
