★ ★ ★ ★ ★ cada dia mas parece albergue de indigentes o adictos, es una pena y lastima andar por esa zona cualquier dia de la semana y encontrar este punto de reunion.

En un inicio dieron soporte a la cúpula principal del antiguo Hogar Cabañas, hoy Hospicio Cabañas; fueron removidas apenas 7 años después de su construcción debido al riesgo de colapso. Y pensar que actualmente se encuentran a la intemperie, sin cuidado alguno, abandonadas, despojadas de la historia de la que alguna vez formaron parte. Si van a visitar el lugar procuren no maltratarlas, son elementos sencillos e históricamente valiosos, además aportan un algo extra al espacio.
Anecdote about the history of these columns:
Initially they supported the main dome of the old Hogar Cabañas, today Hospicio Cabañas; They were removed just 7 years after construction due to the risk of collapse. And to think that they are currently in the open, without any care, abandoned, stripped of the history of which they were once part. If you are going to visit the place, try not to mistreat them, they are simple and historically valuable elements, they also contribute something extra to the space.
