★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had lunch here on 2021-12-27. Nice interior and mostly local guests. Service was very attentive and we liked the cucina yucateca.
Not our first time in this good restaurant and probably not our last visit when we get back to Merida.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had breakfast here, it was good, filling and good priced. They have a lot of traditional Yucatán dishes, so if you want to try cochinita, panuchos, papadzules, this is a great place. They also have chilaquiles and fried eggs.
Lovely chairs with embroidered flowers, socially distanced tables, good service and A/C to escape the scolding Mérida sun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What impressed me most about this place is the exquisite decor. Tiled walls and embroidered backrests share space with modern lighting fixtures and straight-line furniture. All in all, the effect is both tasteful and very pleasant. The same can be said about the food albeit to a slightly lesser degree. The portions are also not as generous as you get at ma and pa restaurants but that's to be expected. Breakfast for 2 will run you about 300 pesos. In my opinion, worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are many choices in this area. After trying a number of them, La Gasta Divina is head and shoulders above the rest. Excellent in every aspect, we've continued to return here. We went to the place across the street, and had the most horrible meal I've suffered in decades. Don't make my mistake, La Gasta Divina is the best choice. Everything we've had here, breakfast, lunch and dinner is perfectly prepared, artfully presented and professionally served. This reflects on the management. Great work!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed the food here, but weren't impressed with the way the staff kept trying to upsell the most expensive dishes on the menu. When the check came, they also added a suspicious additional charge which the waiter was unable to explain when we challenged it. Nice food, but sadly they seem to target foreigners with these kinds of scams...
