The Inn at Manzanillo Bay - 40800 La Unión

The place is beautiful, but the restaurant service not, it was about the actitud of the staff. Instead of give us the menu at the table they gave it to us at the main door to have it with us to the beach front tables (lazy actitud). Unpleasant faces answering questions about Troncones. Not sure if the lady wanted to stop serving more client’s at night since we were the only one table having dinner. Food was ok.

Phenomenal service, absolutely gorgeous location and property. My husband and I are here for 7 days and it’s been a dream. The grounds are kept immaculate, it’s private and comfortable. Great if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and secluded. Amazing view of the beach from our room (right outside the door!), the outdoor shower is so cool. The food is 5 star. We will definitely be returning. Just remember to bring lots of bug spray for the mosquitos.

Really nice restaurant setting by the beach, walk thru a beautiful garden with a pool to the terrace. Definitely a upscale place, the food and drinks are top notch but you will be spending alot to here there which is fine because its all quality. I went there for sunset but unfortunately the terrace isn't oriented in a way that you can see it, but either way I'm glad we went there for dinner it was a experience.

Wonderful staff and fantastic restaurant. I look forward to returning and enjoying another amazing pork chop dinner while watching the sunset from the new deck overlooking the ocean!

5 stars across the board! The most fantastic experience, gorgeous hotel, very professional and courteous staff, delicious food, surf break right outside your room! We stayed for eight days and every day I was more impressed with the level of service this hotel provides. They help accommodate in everyday they can, and the setting and design of the hotel is absolutely gorgeous snd perfect for groups. We will be back many times, I could't have chosen a better place to host my friends and family for an extended trip.

Kevin and the staff are very cordial. The menu is large, but very expensive. (Three people with one alcoholic drink each, one starter to share, burgers, one dessert to share 3,200 pesos) compared to the rest of Troncones. More like being in a generic tropical environment rather than Mexico.

The Inn is a delightful and well manicured boutique hotel. We have just spent two weeks there which we thoroughly enjoyed. Congratulations to the culinary team, Cesar and Kevin all whom contributed to our stay. If you are looking for a quiet getaway and a delightful setting this is for you. Furthermore within a simple Taxi journey there are many excellent eateries.

The best review you could ask for is that I hesitated writing one because I don't want people to know about this gem. I have traveled all over the world and this is, without a doubt in the top three nicest places I have been. The rooms are beautiful and thoughtfully laid out. Even the angle of the bed is deliberate so you can see the gardens, pool and ocean beyond. I could watch surfers every morning. Something we didn't quite grasp when we looked at the lovely site, is that each room has its own outdoor sitting area in the shade. All of this, steps from the pool, and with the ocean in view. The outdoor shower is something to look forward to. If that isn't enough, the restaurant serves extraordinary fresh food all day long. From the delicious breakfasts like avocado toasts with super-ripe tomatoes and balsamic with a poached egg on top, to shrimp with tarragon sauce for dinner, with Vietnamese spring rolls in the middle somewhere. Finally, the people who work there are incredibly kind and patient with all of us. They made us feel at home, but special. We can't wait to return to this place. Oh, and the bay it sits on is beautiful and just far enough from town that you feel like you are in a remote area. Surf, walk, swim, eat, drink, relax. My only hope is that none of you read this :)
