Amazing place to visit. Had a wonderful time. Heidi and her family welcome you to their home and spend lots of time talking to you about the spider monkeys and then you get to spend lots of time with the monkeys. They take photos for you on your cameras so you can just enjoy the experience. We even got to spend time with a baby spider monkey. Amazing experience!!!

Highlight of our holiday (and probably of the year). It's a wonderful place, and the monkeys are obviously adored and their welfare is not just the top priority, it's the only priority. Thank you for letting us into their world. When you visit don't wear sunscreen or mosquito repellant, you will only have to wash it off, and it's not needed while you're here. Feeding them, being hugged and climbed on is what you can expect, always on their terms, and of course some memories that will stay with you for ever. Heidi's story of how she and her husband arrived at this place in their lives is fascinating, and inspirational. Do yourself a favour and arrange a visit well in advance, you won't regret it.

My girlfriend and I visited Heidi and Joel in Oct of 2018 while on vacation. This experience was by far the best part of our trip! Heidi and Joel have an amazing story about how they ended up being a spider monkey rescue. You can listen to them for hours! It's not rushed, it's intimate and it's interactive. The monkeys are all well taken care of and are curious and friendly. If you're thinking about going, do it. book early as they do not take too many people so as to not stress the monkeys out. Best to communicate by email. Thanks k you Heidi and Joel for such a memorable experience!

I've already gone on to the website and put up a comment through Facebook but I will never forget this experience! This was well worth the $80 I left wanting to give them more to help them to care for these lovely animals. Heidi and Joel made us feel at home and very comfortable with them and the monkeys. They made sure we were safe and that they were safe. You can't wear Sun screen or perfumes or mosquito repellent into the enclosure because it can make them sick. They also showed us how to protect ourselves to make sure that the monkeys didn't hurt us because we were trying to hide something from them. There were absolutely no problems with our visit and we enjoyed every minute of it. I definitely recommend a visit to this place if you're ever in the area. It's about an hour South of Cancun and a rather bumpy road but they left it like that on purpose because they wanted to keep the jungle a jungle all the way around them. We were there at the very end of April and the weather was perfect. Everything was excellent and well worth a visit. Thank you again Heidi and Joel for this time that we could share with your family.

Absolutely fantastic experience! To hear how Heidi and Joel began this sanctuary is inspiring. I'm so glad we chose this authentic place. Not commercialized in any way. To see and be allowed in their environment, with the monkeys, was a - one of a kind experience. We left a donation and Heidi really appreciated it, it's how she can care for all the monkeys. Please visit, please google, please contact and please donate!! ? #Amazing

Heidi and Joel were very welcoming and sweet. You can tell that they truly love these monkeys, and are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts. This was out in the jungle a bit, but worth the trip!!! It's not your typical tourist attraction, which I why I chose to take my family there. We spent a good hour with the monkeys. So much fun! Thank you for the once in a lifetime experience!

We came here in April for our birthdays and luckily they had one spot open for us from a cancelled reservation. This place isn't a zoo and the monkeys are Heidi's #1 priority. She takes care of them as if they're her children. We felt as if we were part of the family and we cannot thank them enough for what they're doing and the experience. This place isn't set out to make money, just cover their expenses. They don't allow walk in visits, overwhelming crowds and do private small tours to keep things under control and not bother the monkeys. Would highly recommend this place and book well in advance.
