★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was just a 30 mins break spot for our tourist team and I loved it. The welcome drink of vc tamarind juice was superb. The place is of nature itself sorrounded with old tall trees n greenery. The houses are built in hut style where the temperature is bit cool. As it's like old jungle type, folks may happen to see old chameleons n birds kinda stuff. Must try honey based tequila. There are various ads hops to buy local products. Folks can see traditional chocolate n pizza making. Moreover quite adventurous and exploring place this is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They take advantage of the tourist
Charge more than they supposed to Mexicans. Sunday is a free day if you have ID and they charge you 150 pesos
Then 400 pesos more for than normal for the guide.
They take advantage for the new visitors. Please use the main entrance!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here the first 3 nights of our honeymoon. The food is fantastic, one of the best steaks we have ever had and the pizza at across from the chocolate museum is a must. The staff is amazing. The bar has a fun/relaxing environment. Valero took good care of us. We stayed in the Percival 1c bungalow and had everything we needed. The tub is massive and the pool was right outside our room. You can see chichen itza from the lobby. They have their own path that leads to ruins.
Perfect way to start our honeymoon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful grounds and extremely helpful staff. The entire setting was amazing, and being able to easily get into the park right at 8am as it opens before the huge wave of tour groups is worth the price alone. The food at the main restaurant (El Mural) was only okay, but service was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The property was beautiful. The rooms are small. You are right next to the pyramid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First and foremost, what a amazing hotel! Everything was beautiful. Post Covid, the lodge
still hasn't opened the entire grounds, but it doesn't matter. There is still so much to see and do. We got to tour everything. Chichen Itza, cenotes, and all the beautiful historic towns. Solomon, at the front desk took care of everything. They have excellent drivers and tour guides. The restaurant and its staff are gracious and helpful. You can't go wrong staying at the Lodge at Chichen Itza.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst 5-stars hotel you can have. Everything is from the 90s and they don't bother to update anything. The local small hotel has even a better internet connection.
On top of it, they will make you paid for everything even the hit chocolate with the guy included breakfast for a $400 room/night

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms are not quite as advertised, and the overall experience is very disappointing for the price.
The wifi is non existent in the room. There is a weak wifi in the lobby, which is extremely slow. Essentially, there is no ibternet service without a 4g phone service (which is extremely limited in the area).
There used to be a buffet for breakfast which has been replaced by an "American breakfast" which includes 2 eggs and a plate of fruit (which cost about USD$12). Anything else is extra (and grossly overpriced by US standards) even a simple hot chocolate. For the price of the room ($400), compared to similar hotels, this is not acceptable.
