El Instituto Nacional de Cancerología es un organismo descentralizado de tercer nivel, dependiente de la Secretaría de Salud; que brinda atención médica especializada a enfermos oncológicos siendo además un centro de referencia y órgano rector del cáncer en México.
Dirige sus acciones a la atención de pacientes no derechohabientes de la seguridad social, provenientes de todo el país y ha sido política institucional, el otorgar servicios con eficiencia, calidad y calidez, con enfoque multidisciplinario en proceso diagnóstico, tratamiento, rehabilitación y seguimiento. Aunado a las funciones asistenciales como centro de enseñanza médica e investigación.

Donar sangre.
En sábado llegué 5:50am y fui la ficha 11, el domingo llegué 5:45 con el donador y fue la ficha 25, el lunes llegué con el donador a las 5:30 y fue la ficha 4, cuando los policías empiezan a repartir fichas, las personas que están apartando el lugar a la persona que les donará su sangre tienen dos opciones; a) Dejar pasar a las personas de la fila antes de que llegue el policía a darte tu turno, b) irte al final de la fila. A las 6:30 empezamos a pasar al banco de sangre, en general muy buena atención por parte de los policías, los que se quejan es porque no ponen atención a las indicaciones.
Al llegar al banco te avisan que tardarán de 3 a 4 horas para terminar de atenderte, muy buena atención por parte de las enfermeras, en este banco de sangre son más estrictos que en "cardiología" y que en el "20 de noviembre".
En teléfono para hacer citas te indican que no tiene ese servicio y que tienes que acudir directamente a formarte.
BLOOD BANK
Donate blood.
On Saturday I arrived at 5:50 am and I went to file 11, on Sunday I arrived at 5:45 with the donor and it was to file 25, on Monday I arrived with the donor at 5:30 and it was to file 4, when the police began to distribute Tokens, the people who are setting aside the place to the person who will donate their blood have two options; a) Let the people in line pass before the police officer arrives to give you your turn, b) go to the end of the line. At 6:30 we began to go to the blood bank, in general very good attention from the police, those who complain are because they do not pay attention to the instructions.
When you arrive at the bank they tell you that it will take 3 to 4 hours to finish treating you, very good care from the nurses, in this blood bank they are more strict than in "cardiology" and than in "November 20".
On the phone to make appointments they tell you that they do not have this service and that you have to go directly to train.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have a family mber sick who is dying and jas a loted time left. I traveled short notocr fr chicago in the usa to come see him with jis daighter. We are not fr jere and yesterday we were omly abld to see him for 10 min each. Today we had been told we had approval to see him f4om 10 to u because of our travel, his condition, and how far our hotel is. We get here and we cant see him vecause of visiting hours even though we had approval. So sad that no one talks to rach other here. Its been 40 min and still np answer as to when we can see him. To top thst off, i cant even get a doctor to explain to me whats going on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My grandmother recently passed last week this is the worst place ever, she was denied attention in many occasions since December and was only told to go home and await her death for there was nothing they could do they gave her medication to ease her pains and we later found out it was like tylenol which made things alot more upsetting cause it didnt do nothing the whole time just made her pain worse, my grandmother was suffering a great deal of pain we tried taking her back so maybe they can keep her their and make her feel better with the real medication she needed but all we got was a go back home..2 long months of not being able to do nothing for her and just watching her go thru so much pain has been the worst thing my family has experienced we miss her terribly..? and this hospital was so inhumane..to her pain and suffering
