In 1948 and 1950 the first mines in Magdalena, Jalisco and around, one of the first discovered mines were discovered was ”The One” discovered by Mr. Pascual González González in 1948, located in the foothills of the Tequila Volcano within the municipality of Magdalena, Jalisco. was subsequently mine San Simon in the year 1958 by Mr. Gabriel Galindo Rubio, who was engaged to make charcoal to remove a rock in his way to the oven and burn or preparing the charcoal glowing stone was found and realized it was an opal, and selling the stone was found.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw me coming and took advantage ! I paid a premium price for a junk ring i found out later as the so called "rose gold" rubbed off !! My salesman guaranteed me it was a quality piece ! Yeah whatever !! So answer my emails then !!! ?? Money back guarantee ? I send this ring all the way back to Mexico at my expense and then what ? Im out that money to and you have the ring back to refurbish and resell ?
Run ....run the other way FAST !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent a lot of money on 4 pieces of opals and a Topaz ring. However those opals and the Topaz are proved to be fake. They cheat on tourists. (This store is close to the harbor where Carnival cruises dock.)
After negotiating for many months, they told me to send the opals and the Topaz back to them first. But how can I trust the company who sell fake jewelry at the first place. People told me that this kind of company who cheats on customers will probably not send me any money after I send them things. Especially during these few months of negotiations, the manager had kept me waiting many times that when he said he will call me tomorrow or they will write me an email. I will have to wait for a long time till I push them to reply otherwise no one will reply. Their service has been extremely slow and unsatisfactory.

There is a sliding scale of prices at this location. a $2000 piece could be purchased for a lot less than the tagged price. the necklace we purchased was around $1000 less than the tagged price was. the hand made links are pretty good but I will have one link remade. it's just not quite right. (hand made jewerly) opals are very fragile!!!! they are not for daily wearing. so I hear a lot about broken pieces in the reviews. I am going to have this piece approved for the real Canadian price and I will update my review then.

We were looking for a new bracelet and mens ring on this trip. Found what we wanted at very fair prices and are very pleased with our purchases. The staff was helpful, not pushy, and gave us room to window shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in to this shop and bought a ring while browsing we were given probably the best margaritas in town, and we drank quite a few of them. Got a beautiful ring worth around 400$ USD for less than half that (its legit, we have the certificates of authenticity to prove it). The service was great and they were willing to work with us on the the price. I would absolutely shop here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was an amazing experience through and through; the stores layout is beautiful. Jesus was our sales person, gave us amazing service, time to talk and bargained with the prices. He was very open and honest the whole time told us about the store and how it all came to be. He resized and polished up my ring no charge and made us feel very welcomed and they have great margaritas to top off the amazing experience in their store. This place is definitely a go to shop. Some of the prices are steep and they do have fake/ synthetic pieces but he told us right away, and the store very rarely reuses designs, giving every piece a unique and beautiful look. 10/10 would recommend!
