The place is really beautiful with beautiful jewelry designs, the problem I saw was that the jewels are priceless, when you ask for a price they bring the calculator and they give you the price and normally that is not a good sign because it is very misleading, and just to see the trick, we asked for a really pretty opal ring, the first time we asked the price was 800 dollars, we left the store for 2 hours and then we came back, we asked for the cost of the same pretty opal ring and the price was 1000 dollars, 200 dollars more (we ask the same person for the cost to avoid confusions), and well we really confirm that the cost is not honest and tricky, so my recommendation is stay away from the places where there is not a price label.

Beware. I purchased a 2 carat opal this past December. I had purchased the ring during a visit to San Miguel and needed to size the ring back in the states locally. Our local jeweler pointed out during the process that the gem quality was good, but the ring was substandard and warned us that the opal was glued in the setting, to be careful. Sure enough, 2 months later the opal fell out of the setting and down the drain.
