I like to come here for a quick bite. Their soups are great. Crepe and pho were okay. Service is usually good but can be better. It’s more on the pricey side, but I guess it’s because they use all vegan ingredients?

Awesome spot! Great outdoor patio that is shaded and a delicious breakfast menu that is served all day. The wifi is good and it’s some of the best vegan food I’ve had. A must visit while in Playa!

The food was delicious. So good I ate here 3 days. I would have to say that bagel was my favorite, so yummy. ? The Beyond burger was good too, taste like it was mixed with something else tho, but still very good. I never had chocolate pancakes, they were good too. Oh I prefer the jackfruit tacos over the cauliflower tacos. The jackfruit tacos had a familiar taco seasoning taste. Nonetheless, everything I ate was good. ? Staff was very helpful with good recommendations, especially the young lady pictured. Philly Black Vegan was here

Loved our brunch here. So many options for whatever you are craving. Vegan versions of the Mexican traditional foods served with great presentation as well as waffles and hot cakes. The Pitted Date also has another location in Tulum. Prices are a bit higher then other places in Mexico but the quality and presentation is higher than most places we went to in Playa.

Best vegan Breakfast ever! No more to say - visit this place, if you have the possibility. We visited it twice during our 2 day-stay in Playa del Carmen. It offers fantastic vegan food and nice staff.

We had some expectations to this place. We first read the reviews here and checked the pictures and tagged photos in IG. We were served by two people. A man and a woman. The lady was very kind and made the effort to give us a good experience. The gentleman seemed working against his will. You would make his a question about the food or drinks and he would answer you in short words (we spoke to him in Spanish, so it couldnt be because of the lack of vocabulary). Well, we were still excited about the food. The latte we ordered was good but they charge +$9.00mxn for the plant based milk (I thought this was a vegan place only! And it is..). I didn't really get that part. Then when the food came, the lentils dhal had no lentils, it was a bouillon with curry and coconut flavor. Disappointing! The jackfruit burger was tasty thanks to the BBQ sauce. The bowl I ordered was plain and tasteless. I hoped for a sauce. Perhaps some ponzu, a little soy sauce.. nothing? Really? I asked the girl to add some spice to it when I ordered, she said it would come with red curry paste tofu. The tofu as you can see in the image was styr-fry with salt and pepper and that's it. Lastly, we order pancakes and specifically asked without banana. Oh boy, there were some pancakes in my bananas. There was more banana than pancakes (also in between). Alright. We just put it aside. I am not sure if this was a bad day for them or a one time thing. Overall, it was not a place to come back. Especially having in mind how elevated the vegan food overall in Playa del Carmen is. I hope this place improves this little things if they are a regular thing as they have potential.

I had breakfast and lunch 3 or 4 times during my holidays. Without any doubt , one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve ever been. Food is absolutely delicious. I wanted to try the whole menu ! My favs were the mushrooms bomblette and the cochinita pibil tacos. Cold coffees are from another planet, to die for !

The food was good and I was SO HAPPY to have vegan eggs. If our server was a little friendlier, I probably would have given this place would five stars. It was unfortunate.. he really had zero personality and barely talked to us. On the plus side, it was nice that our dogs could sit under the chairs with us!
