The Red Tree House - 06100 Ciudad de México

Our stay at the Red Tree House over Easter break can only be described as PERFECT! The hotel is located in the most beautiful (and safe!) neighborhood imaginable, and from the moment you walk in you just know your'e in for a special experience. It's not only beautifully decorated/furnished, but Viktor Carrerra and his amazing team treat you like family and always greet you with a warm and inviting smile. And the breakfast? A different traditional hot Mexican breakfast every morning (along with tasty sweet breads and fresh squeezed orange juice and more!). The staff is also very knowledgeable of Mexico City and will help you navigate/reserve visits to the ruins, restaurants, etc .... I can honestly that the Red Tree House is one of my favorite hotels, and I've travelled extensively through North America and Europe in the past 30 years. Thank you Viktor, Marco and the rest of the staff for making us feel so welcome. I can't wait to come back with the rest of my family!

Obsessed with this place. Beautiful hotel, extremely helpful and friendly staff. We stayed in the penthouse and loved it. The location is perfect, safe, and walkable. The beds and rooms are so comfy. LOVE the breakfast and happy hour that allow you to meet other guests. Would absolutely come back here again and again.

I can definitely call this place home. That is literally how we felt when we were in Mexico City. Friendliest staff in the world, beautiful design. I can stay in their garden for hours. Thank you for making our trip the best.

The Red Tree House was recommended by a friend, and wow am I glad it was! I stayed here with my spouse for several days, and the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Our room was charming, clean, and comfortable, as were the common areas. I’ll definitely stay here again and would give it six stars if I could!

This may sound like hyperbole, but it is not....this was the best hotel experience any of us have had - ever! And we have traveled a great deal and stayed in lots of places, so that is a big statement. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed in and treated with such warmth and personalized care. Victor took care of us like we were family, going out of his way to make our kids (11yo & 21yo) feel welcome and special. The common areas are gorgeous. The curated art collection is truly astounding. The place feels like a museum, but a super chill one where you can lounge around in beautiful & stylish spaces, talking to a ton of cool and interesting people while drinking coffee and eating amazing breakfast food or sipping on delicious wines. Everything is spotless in the rooms, apartments, and common areas. The hotel location is fantastic. The outdoor patio is like a sweet little secret fairy garden. They make you feel like royalty here while also providing a super down to earth and authentic experience. No need will go unnoticed or unmet during your stay, whether it’s helping with transportation, arranging covid tests, offering personalized recommendations, giving directions or customizing details of your stay based upon your unique circumstances. I can’t wait to go back to beautiful CDMX and when I do, I wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else. We are all in love with The Red Treehouse and feel so thankful to all the staff. If you are looking for great value, charming and warm Mexican service in a place that makes you feel at home then this is your place. The team is always there for anything you need and willing to assist with any task. Breakfast is included every day and rotates through a selection of Mexican classics that are all delicious. After having stayed here multiple times I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Mexico City. Book early as they are often sold out.

I stayed here with my family, 7 persons in January and we all were very satisfied. This is a hotel that really shows you are welcome - warm and nice people, nice atmosphere and drinks on the house each evening to socialize. The rooms are clean and well equipped as well. Good standard. We got the information about this hotel from a Swedish acquaintance and will be happy to forward it to other friends. Would like to come back some day and further explore this fabulous capital of Mexico.

This hotel provides a perfect and authentic experience! The staff are so friendly and accommodating! They provide excellent recommendations and will help arrange tours, restaurant reservations etc. The rooms are tasteful and clean. The breakfast and happy hour in the garden with other guests are very special and very fun to meet travellers in this setting. Location is also great!
