We truly were “at home” at The Royal Cancun! A once in a lifetime experience that I suggest for anyone. We stayed in the “Presidential Suite” which lived up to it’s name. The staff bends over backwards to assist you with world class service. The beeches are breathtaking and well maintained. The security is top notch and seem to be everywhere. I highly recommend this resort!

The place more laid back than the Royal Sands. It is also has calmer waters for little ones and those with issues to enjoy the warm ocean. The food is just as good and the staff is amazing! Just a nice place to kick back and watch the large boats come in and out. You can also use the available water equipment to enjoy the ocean.

The resort is beautiful and the staff working there very friendly and professional. Not the same can be said about the management, who forced me to pay twice for the same guest (a 13 years that on the booking site defined as a child and included in the family package but the property refused to honor). They categorically refused to let us in the resort the day of check in unless we pay an all inclusive fee, which had already being paid in advance. At that point with the prospect of having our family stranded during spring break, I had to cave in and add another 600 dollar charge. When a friend of ours, staying at the resort next door came to visit us at the beach, they refused to let him sit on one of the hotel’s plastic beach chair and had him sit on the sand 3 feet from us, or pay for a all inclusive day pass. Clarifying he didn’t ask to use any facility, drink or eat anything or even get inside the hotel. Just sitting with us at the beach. Of course we just picked up all our stuff and went to my friend’s resort, which was super friendly and accommodating, so we spent the whole day there. So much for having shelled 4 grants for an all inclusive stay. Oh, and don’t think that all inclusive means ALL INCLUSIVE. Unless your agree to listen to a 2 hour time share pitch you won’t be able to dine at any of the resort’s restaurant besides the buffet. I’ve been around the block a couple of times in my life and this is the instance in which i was treated the worst by the management, it was humiliating. I will never be back and I’ll make sure to spread the voice about the way they treat clients as widely as possible.

The staff is very nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable for a family of 6 for a two bedroom bathroom suite. The restaurants were accommodating with many of our special requests. My biggest issue with this hotel is that the activities for teens is lacking and there is no entertainment.

I want to start out with that I never wrote reviews. But this was just an awful experience here. First, not everything is all inclusive. We paid a good amount to stay here and for something like Tito’s it’s not included. The excursion and clubs were good. And they are very good with getting you transportation. But my friend had food poisoning from eating the steak here. Literally in the bathroom the entire day. On top of that. My other friend had tested positive for Covid. And while we were trying to figure out what was happening. They were not telling us anything. They did not call, they didn’t help us out. We had to talk to the hotel manager every time. And she was NO help. Carlos the bartender was great. I suggest you don’t pay the all inclusive. Just for the rooms. And eat and explore out. Otherwise this resort is awful

Love this place! The sports desk was the best part. They have everything! Snorkels, golf clubs, tennis, basketball, shuffleboard, bumper pool, board games, water volleyball, soccer... Love the beach and pool here. Javier on the beach treated us like VIPs. Patricia the waitress on the beach worked so hard to take care of us. And the food was great at both restaurants. We'll be back!

All inclusive was a bit pricey and the food really wasn't that great. If I was to do it over again, I wouldn't get all inclusive, but I would be happy to stay at this resort again. It's not the crazy party scene some of the others are, it has a time share feature, which brings an older and calmer atmosphere in general around the facility. It was clean, beautiful, and has very attentive staff. Great place to go.

Just finished a stay at this resort and our family loved it. We did the all inclusive stay and it was so nice to have someone cooking and cleaning for you. Food is ok, don’t expect 5 star cuisine, but we were able to find something decent every meal. This is a smaller resort, but we ended up liking that as at was easy to get seated at meals and not as many people in the water and all over the beach. Speaking of the beach, it was great for small kids. Very calm water and not deep. I was really impressed at how well they take care of this resort. It was built in the 1970’s but you wouldn’t really know that as everything is really clean and maintained. Things I wouldn’t even think of were done for you, like someone coming around to brush the sand off your chairs and cabana table. Check in was easy and we had a beachfront room. I really enjoyed the view from our room, however there are some party boats that come by playing loud music pretty late at night. We didn’t mind as we brought sound machines to drown out the noise, but they could be loud. Housekeeping was amazing and thoroughly cleaned the room every day. Tipping was not included in the all inclusive so be aware of that as well. The kids club people were amazing with our kids. Honestly, we couldn’t have been happier picking this resort for our first trip to Cancun.
