★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was awful. We waited for thirty minutes to get a cart and it ended up being slow with poor steering. This place will squeeze you out of your dollars and cents. I recommend not going to Isla Mujeres altogether, but especially this trashy business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was horrible. They gave us a golf cart with a nail in the tire and then would not refund us the money when the tire went flat, two seconds after we got the cart. Made us wait 30 minutes for another cart and by that time we had to get ready to get back to the boat. Also, they rent for $17 an hour if you go to their stand as opposed to the $30 or $40 they try to charge you on the street.
Este lugar es horible para rentar. Son tranzas. Cobran $30 dolares o mas en frente de las tiendas pero en cuando van a recoger los carritos indica que es $17 dolares.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were charged $60 USD to rent a cart for 2 hours as Americans touring the area, when clearly by the sign in the shop they charge far less. Such a trap/ rip off and will take advantage of people if they get the chance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The golf carts are in good condition. I would of gave 5 stars if it was cheaper for the day. I bumped into some people who payed $50 for 24 hrs. To get the rental it is $67 for 24 hrs. And you leave your driver license and will be given back to you when you return it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend this place to rent your golf cart on the island. They have better prices than the places on the main road ($34 usd for one hour). We were able to rent the golf cart here for 1hr for only $19 USD. We were able to drive around and take pictures! We went from end to end on the island but we had to do it a little rushed to not pass the hour. All in all it was a great experience and I highly recommend renting your golf car at The Sun Golf Cart Rental (“El Sol”).
