The Tiki Mug - Tiki Bar & Café - 77524 Cancún

We went a few times during our visit in Cancún. The prices are excellent, and the cocktails very tasty. We didn't try the hookah, but people seemed to love that too. :-)

Really awesome and accommodating place. Fun Tiki cups. Excellent, Friendly, and helpful staff. Would recommend stopping in for a refreshing cocktail or a chill hang with a couple friends and cold beers.

Great little place and another refuge from the inflated price experience of the Cancun's Hotel Zone. Every tiki cocktail is 80 pesos (4 US) and is pretty good. Tried all eight cocktails (several times..) and they are of consistent baseline quality although when ordering my favourite one several times (Doctor Mug) it never really tasted exactly the same each time. Tried some of the food - it's okay. Tried they hookah (shisha) and it was solid, good coals that last 1h+ and decent selection of the tobacco. Priced at 350 pesos (17 US) is on the expensive side for Mexico but in Cancun bubble it's very reasonable (paid 30 US in Hotel Zone). Celebrated New Years here and it was great, live singing, felt very local with a good mix of younger European/American travelers and local Mexican. Great friendly service (shout out to Karla) and just a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Only negatives are that it's cash only and the selection of music is clearly tailored for a generic foreign visitor. Overall, amazing place to get that blood alcohol level up in a financially prudent and relaxing manner.

A great experience at The Tiki Mug! Fantastic service and drinks. Rafa made us drinks according to our tastes and preferences. He is a great bar tender and was super friendly. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed and the music is great. Highly recommend checking out this spot!

Great place to chill catch a drink a hookah and some food Fonda or fast food. Cool staff and relaxed atmosphere. Awesome place

Very nice and small bar around the downtown area with very delicious cocktails, hookah,live music and acceptable prices. The staff is nice and friendly checking very often if you need something else. The bar is well decorated and all the cocktails are served in a tiki cup. Also there is a "live volcano" which is activated by clapping your hands ?. Overall it was a good experience and i would recommend it for a nice chill out night with friends
