The Wild Oscar - 11560 Ciudad de México

This hotel is a gem in the perfect location. With just 28 rooms and suites The Wild Oscar will feel like your private residence. In a day or two you will know all the staff by name. The lobby is like a livingroom with a perfectly stocked bar and small restaurant. Breakfast starts at 8am and the bar doesn't close until 10pm. They made my special order breakfast perfectly each morning. There is an espresso machine in the bar as well as Nespresso machines in the room. They were happy to please and often made me something to eat that wasn't on the menu. We had a special occasion one night and the chef made us an amazing five course dinner. This hotel is very new by Polanco standards and very modern. With just four floors of rooms it's easy to get in and out. There is a doorman outside 24/7, not that Polanco needs security. There is a small gym on the fourth floor with dumbbells ranging from 5 pounds to 50 pounds. There is a cable pully machine, two treadmills, an oliptical trainer and a stationary bike. At a time when every other hotel seems to be cutting service The Wild Oscar is not. The hotel was fully staffed and we had daily mail service. There are large meeting areas and a conference room available for guests use. This would be the perfect location for educational tours or business travelers. I can't imagine a better location or hotel for a family reunion. I stayed in suite 302. There is a small kitchen with a two burner stove, refrigerator, kitchen cabinets and a microwave. The shower is larger with plenty of hot water and great pressure. The bed in 302 is a king with a very good mattress and plenty of quality pillows. In Polanco I have stayed in the Hyatt, The W, Pug Seal and the Intercontinental. I will be returning to The Wild Oscar. It was a far better experience overall than any of the others. Rick Culleton

If you're looking for a small+fancy boutique hotel in one of the best areas of Mexico City, you need to stay at The Wild Oscar. Everyone is very attentive, looking forward to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Included breakfast is on top. Rooms are so nicely decorated

The Wild Oscar is a perfect boutique hotel 5/5 The location in Polanco is excellent. This is the place to stay. The rooms are modern + clean and the bedding is great. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

The Wild Oscar is just amazing. Ideally located and with a refreshing classy design. The best part? Definitely the hotel team. Kind and always trying to make your stay even better. Definitely recommend for both couple and families that want to enjoy Polanco.

Of my many years and many countries of international travels, this is in my Top 10 of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. It’s a quintessential boutique hotel experience. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. The rooms are modern and clean. Although I would almost never eat at a hotel while I’m trying to experience the cuisine of the city I’m staying in, I had breakfast at the hotel on my last day (New Years Day, so not much was open). I’m glad I did. The breakfast was one of the best things I had. Just look at my pic of the chilaquiles!

An amazingly classy and well-appointed boutique hotel in the heart of Polanco. Stayed here for a few days and really enjoyed it...classy rooms with just about everything you'd need for a short stay (albeit decorated in darker shades of color, which I personally I love) What I truly loved was the service and how hospitable the staff was. When I realized I forgot my shaving cream, they sent one of their staff out to grab me some shaving gel, unprompted. If you ask for something it is brought up amazingly quick. Its close to some amazing restaurants--Pujol and otherwise--as well some excellent shopping. Hope to stay here again on the next visit!
