Couple on an all inclusive.. We booked online directly with Palladium group and originally bound for Don Carlos in Sant Eulalia, but only 2 weeks prior to our arrival date we were told that Don Carlos would now be closing early so gave us the option to either transfer to Palmyra or move our travel plans to a later date. We had stayed Palmyra 4 years earlier and was well worth the 4 Star rating and was the main reason for choosing one of their sister hotels this time. We had flights and transfers already booked. We considered putting it on hold, but thought after a long, long 2 year wait for a getaway we agreed to move. We rearranged our transfers and went with it. On arrival we were greeted by reception staff and pleasantly surprised mostly the same staff as from our first visit. We were shown to one of the bungalows poolside. First thoughts were what a great room, but after reflection would have rather stayed in the main building. The décor is mostly dark wood also no direct sun on them all day so In October made them really cold at night, we had to request extra blankets, IMO the rooms are a bit tired and update required. Space outside room had two loungers and set of chairs so of an evening was nice area to chill out watch the sunset or listen to the cabaret with a Vino from the bar, which had a wide range alcoholic and soft drinks, "cocktails" the amount of ice I would class them more of a alcoholic slushy. And when asked were told not allowed to have with the ice. Perhaps you get that option if you upgrade to the premium package which were told needed for the top shelf spirits, not sure on the charge though. Staff are the heart and soul of this place they work so hard to please. Entertainment was varied and catered for all. A la Carte a nice touch where there is also an extra cost if want to deviate from the set menu board. We went for the T-Bone veal steak (£23).Daily buffets all edible and tasty but were very same as, only so many stir fry and chicken wraps you can eat. IMO reason was probably because we were there on the season closing week and trying to finish off the food remaining. Overall still nice place, but would have liked to have tried the experience of the Don Carlos. Reason for the 3 stars is aimed mostly at Palladium Group than the Hotel....
