★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of vendors, everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to handmade wares, jewelry and clothing. Is always quite busy, I recommend coming earlier in the morning. Happens every Thursday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thursday Public Market in LA Penita. Many local Vendors bring fresh fruit and vegetables, Various other wares they have created for your house/home kitchen. Clothing for both men and women. It will take about 2 hours to wonder through.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have my favorite stalls but this is a must see for colour, culture and creativity. We never miss a week. Reasonable prices and friendly vendors. Negotiate if you know a little Spanish. Most embarrassing are the aggressive tourists' treatment of locals who, in the oppressive heat, are just trying to earn enough to feed their families. You can find just about everything if you look hard enough. Smile! Learn to say, "No, gracias!" Enjoy the culture. Market day is a social event.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really cool little market. Bought delicious fruit from a vendor. Tons of jewelry, clothing, fresh drinks. Very little English spoken but the vendors are all very gracious with tourists if you attempt to use spanish. You're in their country, at least try to speak a bit! There are bathrooms at the start of the market, at 5 pesos per person to use.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was nice, just a normal tianguis with the regular stuff going on. It's a pretty good size and there's plenty of great food around
