A weird hotel - it's at the back of a number of shops and a restaurant. The lighting is poor and my wife struggled with watching where she was walking. The public, non-segregated toilets were abysmal for lighting - almost impossible to find the door handle to get out of the toilets. Our room was on the 2nd floor - once again, the lighting left a lot to be desired - difficult to have a successful shave without missing bits. There was a wooden shutter in the shower, but if you opened it to let the steam out, you can be seen from the public walkways. The bed was weird - it seemed to be the wrong way round - I'm 1.82m tall and my feet were hanging over the edge. The toilet is in a cupboard. Noisy air conditioning. We went to bed early - around 2215hrs as we'd had a long day travelling, so we went to bed - there was still loud music being played somewhere, within the building. My wife called reception and was told the music would be finishing soon, however, the music carried on until around 0030hrs, followed by revellers making a right racket as they headed back to their rooms. Just after 0730hrs, building works next started bwxt door and we woke with a start, thinking the roof was falling in... After much grumbling and sorting ourselves out, we headed up to the roof terrace for breakfast. Breakfast was included in our booking. But, you can't anything/everything on the menu - it's very limited. We'd recommend the toast, with eggs. The hotel advertises that it has a pool - yes, it does, but there's no sun loungers nor any other chairs around the pool. There's a roof top bar, but I think you'd be frowned upon if you slobbed out in the comfy, padded chairs if you're sopping wet, coming out of the pool. Expensive cocktails on the roof terrace, but spectacular, panoramic views of Zocala and the locality. The hotel is a ball-ache to access, due to the Police - tourist, civil, national, auxiliary or any other Police force deciding to randomly shut the roads in the local vicinity. If needs must, use the metro system. Everything I've mentioned, has been raised in previous reviews - hotel: form over function, location: excellent, but a chew to get to, value: mmm, over-priced, taking everything into account...
