La comunidad se encuentra entre los cerros de la sierrita puuc, pues las planicies son propicias a la inundación. La tierra fértil de los valles de esta comunidad apartada la hacen el lugar idóneo para el cultivo de distintas especies para la alimentación humana y animal.
Beautiful community is Tigre Grande, a police station belonging to the municipality of Tzucacab in southern Yucatán. The community is located between the hills of the Puuc mountain range, as the plains are conducive to flooding. The fertile land of the valleys of this remote community make it the ideal place for the cultivation of different species for human and animal nutrition.
