★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Something about Barbería Tinajero, the barbershop, caught my attention as I walked up one of Tapachula's Third streets. It was probably to remind me to look up the meaning of Tinajero that I took a photo of the place. It means, roughly, tub or a tubber, a person who in some way traffics in tubs or tub-like objects that can catch rain water. Possibly a rain barrel is a tinja.
This barbershop is well placed on "autobus row," the street in Tapachula where most or all intercity bus companies have stations.
