On the outside very beautiful, on the inside not so much. The space is not functional for people who are overweight and / or with mobility problems.

No ventilation in the kitchen.
So small room that makes you feel uncomfortable.
There’s no drape on the window/door, anyone can see you from the outside, especially at night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This tiny house is a gem. Crafted with attention to detail, it has the perfect amount of space for 2 people to relax in the mountains. The kitchen is equipped with just enough dishes and cooking utensils. The deck is a great extension of the space with beautiful views of the town and mountains. It’s nice to stay somewhere where you are not sharing walls with anyone. The loft bed is plenty spacious and the house was very clean when we arrived.
It should also be noted that the owner is very kind and willing to give advice, and help in any way. His hospitality is impeccable.
I am looking forward returning to San Mateo and staying here again.
