I've always passed by this stall, especially since I am plant-based, so much is hard to find on the street stalls that fit the bill, but wow, I love these. I had a plantain one yesterday (this one was stuffed with spinach) - wowww. and the salsa macha they use is amazing. they topped mine with nopales (but they also have cream and cheese). I went back again today and accidentally ordered a corn flour tlacoyo instead of a plantain one. this one was filled with beans and still amazing! I loved the one made from plantain more if i had to choose, but they were both amazing and 35 pesos. I'll be back again.. maybe tomorrow :)

And he was a health care worker in Plya del carmen. Taking care of everyone around him, disregarding his own to care for those in need! This woman is making some of the best traditional food of Mexico city where she grew up. Her main item is a tamale of sorts called a Espinacas con Queso Oaxaca, made of corn masa blended with spinach loaded with cheese or pork topped with whatever you want! Just saying, if your in Playa del carmen and you would love to try a true Mexican delight you need to get you some!
