The ice cream is amazing. The place is safe and the people are very nice.
We were there around independence day so the streets were adorned with the Mexican flag colors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to walk and to the Parian, for mariachi. Food is not really good I would say appetizers drknks mariachi, and have dinner elsewhere. Nice stores and walk around the downtown area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tlaquepaque is a magic area full of good energy, lots of restaurants, coffee places, bars, shops & art galleries with a lovely traditional style.
Perfect spot to do shopping or just hang out with friends and get a drink.
We enjoyed “ El Parian” where you could have a delicious Mexican meal and listen to mariachi. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of variety and there's always something going on. It is good place to enjoy by yourself or with company. Do check out the small stores on streets surrounding the main area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My home. Even though there is too much there now, it is still as beautiful as always. The art is what makes it iconic, in my opinion. Must see place when you visit Guadalajara!! The art speaks volumes here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The streets were very clean. No rubbish, no weeds. Lots of nice shops and restaurants and open spaces for walking and browsing. Parking was 20 pesos per hour which is twice as much as in Guadalajara. Anyway it was a lovely way to spend a morning.
