★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tlaquepaque Centro is lovely but very touristy, with people from all over the world visiting. Needless to say, expensive compared to the rest of Mexico. Visiting the Bustamante gallery is a must.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I strongly recommend this place, it has an environment that reminds the typical Mexican homes with a modern twist. Here you can find some Mexican food, but they serve a tasty sushi too. Nevertheless, you shouldn't miss the chance to try the Pulque. It's a traditional Mexican beverage with a milky appearance and a bit sour taste, the good thing is, it can be mixed with a lot of fruits and ingredients to make it different. My personal favorites are raspberry and peppermint, ginger and mango. But there's a whole selection for everyone's taste.
